I feel like a movie star today!  I better get a good pair of sunglasses!

This past fall, I made a short movie about my Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome (LNS).  Last week I previewed the movie with my staff.  Everyone keeps telling me how much they like it!  I hope everyone gets a chance to see it.  Some of my good friends such as Leanne Stryker, Debra Niland, Peg Smith-Rich, Robin Bartlett, and Rachael Baginski were in the movie as my supporting actresses.

I now am able to show the world about my LNS.  I was able to show how I deal with LNS on a daily basis.  I have good days, and I have bad days, but everyone helps me get through each day.

Now there is talk of me going to a conference in Reno, Nevada, in May.  Stephanie Wincik, the associate director of nursing at EHCA, is the guest speaker on behalf of my movie.  I would love to be able to roll out on the stage and say “HI” to everyone!  We are talking and planning to see if I can squeeze this into my busy schedule.  Oh, and what fun I'd have if I could check out the local scenary, such as shopping and sightseeing!

What can I say, I’m popular.  Watch out world, here I come.

Until next time,
Bill
