A couple weeks ago, I put in a request for time off for February 9th from MOVE. Reason being, it was my 36th birthday. Happy Birthday to me! I gave my request to Debra Niland, the MOVE Director, who then passed it on to Rachael Baginski, another EHCA staffer, for approval.
My good friend, Erin, decided to hang out with me on my special day. I had to make up an itinerary of what I wanted to do on my day off. Since eating is one of my most favorite things to do, we did have to put lunch in my schedule. I chose Cornerstone at East 38th and Pine Ave. I couldn’t wait to order mashed potatoes with gravy, and something cheesey! Once there I had another surprise waiting for me, my other good friend, Dana, was waiting to have lunch with me. MMMM….lunch was great!
Next on my agenda was to stop by the Presque Isle Downs & Casino. I love to people-watch, as I have said before. I bumped into a couple of people while putting my money into the slot machines. No such luck, the slots ate my money.
Last but not least, off to the Millcreek Mall. Another place that I love to stroll around and be social. I actually had a mission while I there. I had to get fitted for a tuxedo, since I’m in a wedding in August. After such a long day of running around, it was time to come home.
I requested for my birthday treat to be cheesecake. Nothing fancy, just the plain New York style cheesecake. I only had a couple bites. I was very tired. Although not tired enough to open my wonderful gifts. Wow! A couple yellow t-shirts, some pants, movies, and a new dvd player!
Kiss Kiss, thank you, everyone, for my wonderful day!
