I am sitting here gazing at my hanging vegetable plants.  I wonder how much longer I have to wait to be able to to pick the vegetables and make my salsa.  I keep a careful eye on my precious tomatoes, green peppers, and cucumbers every day.  So far, I have counted 17 green peppers.  It’s  only a matter of time before they are ready!  I will just keep watering my vegetables, giving them plenty of plant food, and lots of TLC.  I let the suns

Giving Thanks

We all may call this the “Holiday Season”, but really it is the “Season of Illnesses”.

Halloween is Almost Here!

Well the cold, crisp air has arrived.  Red, yellow, orange and brown leaves are falling to the ground.  It is fall for sure.  Fall means apple cider, apple picking, pumpkin decorating, scarecrows, and turning the heat on.  As much as I love summer, I also love fall.

So as summer comes to an end, I think about all the fun I have had, and one thing keeps popping up in my head.  GUACAMOLE!  I had my first try with guacamole when I was in Reno, NV.  I tried it as pleasure feeding, and it was LOVE!  Now that things are slowing down in my life, I am going to make some guacamole at home.  I did some searching online and found an easy recipe.  I would love to share it with you!

As the anticipation for Erin's wedding drew near, I made sure to be rested for the big day! As soon as I woke up on Saturday morning, it was go - go - go! My staff at EHCA helped me prepare for the day's activities.  I took a nice long bath...and then jumped into my tux. Tina took me to where I was meeting the groomsmen. While waiting there, I was practicing my lines. Soon it would be time for me to take my place to greet the guests, and I wanted to be ready.

I am sorry it has been a while since I blogged. I have been very busy. Let me tell you why!  I have been helping an EHCA staff member get ready for her wedding!
