Growing Your Plant -- Instructions
- When you get home, put your sand in a cup saucer, or small shallow dish.
- TOMORROW - Take a fork, and poke your fork into the bottom of your styrofoam cup.
- This helps the plant to breath and protect from root rot.
- You can poke the fork on the bottom twice so your roots can breath and water can drain.
- Do not overwater. Keep your dirt moist. Water a little daily..about 2 teaspoons of water.
- Your plant is planted in its own mini greenhouse now -
- To keep your plant organic use ONLY WATER.
- Keep your plant in a sunny place.
- Keep your plastic bag loosely tented over your plant...this acts as a little greenhouse.
- Once your plant has grown SO THAT IT IS TO THE TOP OF YOUR PLANTING MARKER - you can take off your plastic.
- After your plant is 5 to 6 inches...transplant into a final larger pot.
- Don't forget to share your plant's produce with the Second Harvest Food Bank:)
